Marley SolarTile® can be fitted as part of a typical roofing project and installation is fast. Thanks to the patented push-together design, installation times for your solar rooftop can be less than one hour per kilowatt peak. |
The integrated solar roof tiles measure 1000x1686mm. They can be installed in a landscape or portrait orientation and are easily combined using patented push-fit technology to create solar arrays of any shape and size. As well as this, the industry leading 5mm panel spacing and hidden fixings give a high-end, sleek aesthetic to your solar roof.
Marley SolarTile® is the only roof-integrated solar system accredited with the highest resistance to spread of flame and fire penetration in all European fire safety tests, achieving BRoof T1, T2, T3 and T4.
The PV solar tiles also provide excellent weather-tightness and wind resistance, without the need for extra roof batten support, adhesive flashing rolls or fireproofing materials. The certified wind resistance for Marley SolarTile® is more than four times higher than competitor PV roof tiles and is suitable for even the most exposed locations.
Marley SolarTile® is compatible with the entire range of Marley roof coverings, including clay and concrete tiles and cedar shingles and shakes, and it is suitable for installation on low-pitch roofs.

Such flexibility is also seen through the availability of half-cut cells introduced for the first time on Marley SolarTile®. The use of two parallel circuits in the module halves the current in the cells and provides several technical benefits once the solar system is in operation. These include higher panel efficiency with reduced resistance losses at the cell connections; each half of the cell’s performance is unaffected by shading on the other; lower heating effect from spot shading and greater resistance to mechanical stress in bending. It is available in a 335Wp panel, with an efficiency of 20.7%. |
